The Wieda Glass and Ironworks Museum documents the economic and historical background of the town in terms of "glassworks" and "mining and smelting".

In the "Glassworks" section, visitors to the Wieda Glass and Ironworks Museum can find out about the 100-year glassworks tradition in the forest near Wieda. The focal point of the exhibition is the finds from the site of the wine glassworks (1607 - 1623) in the glassmaking settlement of Westerwieda.
