Read more Good to know ------------ Best to visit suitable Depends on weather - Jan - Feb - Mar - Apr - May - Jun - Jul - Aug - Sep - Oct - Nov - Dec Directions In Bad Sachsa, after the 1st gas station at the main intersection, turn right into "Bahnhofstraße" - pass the 2nd gas station into "Marktstraße" up to the intersection - turn left into "Jugendherbergsstraße" - then immediately right into "Ringstraße" - then left into "Steinaer Straße" - continue uphill and then downhill to Steina - past the church - turn right and along the street "Oberdorf" - uphill into Steinatalstraße - past the forest hotel and the drinking water reservoir in Steinatal - after about 1.2 km turn left - over a bridge and left again - on the forest path past the "Wasserscheide" and uphill - at the path junction "Nasser Weg" keep right - along the path to the "Wiesenbecker Pond" - past the campsite and the outdoor pool - downhill on the street to Bad Lauterberg.
