Ameisen auf der Jordanshöhe

The adventure island was created with the help of representatives from the St. Andreasberg National Park House and focuses on the "ants", which, as very small forest dwellers, are often underestimated for their importance to the ecosystem.

On site, there is a bench made of oversized spruce needles, two "aphids" and a "red forest ant" to marvel at. Hikers also receive exciting information about these useful inhabitants of the national park.
