Bike fun in the Harz

Whether with a mountain bike, a racing bike or on a leisurely tour – in the Harz you’ll find plenty of ways to explore the region on two wheels.

With a mountain bike, you’ll ride along narrow paths and steep sections. On the 74 routes of the Volksbank Arena Harz, a total of 2,300 kilometres of trails and around 50,000 metres of altitude await you. The paths through the Bodetal, considered the most rugged rocky valley north of the Alps, are also part of it. Along the routes, you’ll find plenty of hosts who are geared towards the needs of bikers.

If you prefer something more athletic, you can test your skills and fitness in the Harz bike parks. On the tracks of various difficulty levels, after a ride up by cable car or chairlift, you’ll head downhill and decide for yourself how close you want to get to your limit.
