Harz Mountain Camp am Schierker Stern

Here you can enjoy a relaxed vacation in a tent, caravan, camper van, motorhome or a Scandinavian hiker's cabin. Also ideal for touring hikers. Use of the modern sanitary facilities is included in the overnight price. The small kitchen with washing-up area and the lounge with TV and board games ensure an all-round relaxing vacation.

After an active day, relax in the cozy barrel sauna.
In the reception, with a small guest bistro, you can get fresh bread rolls, coffee and cake (depending on the season), pizza and tarte flambée as well as regional drink specialties every day.

The direct location next to the Harz National Park, just 8 km from the Brocken, offers hiking enthusiasts in particular an ideal location at any time of year. But also historic towns such as Wernigerode with its old town and castle, Quedlinburg or attractions such as the narrow-gauge railroad, Titan RT suspension bridge and the cave town of Rübeland ensure a varied vacation and are easy and quick to reach.

The climatic health resort of Schierke is just 1 km away and offers a great selection of restaurants, a small supermarket, as well as a spa park and the Schierker Feuerstein Arena for events.

With the visitor's tax and the HATIX ticket, every guest can travel free of charge on buses throughout the Harz Mountains. There is a bus stop directly at the camp.
