Our Hotel & Spa Suites FreiWerk in the Harz Mountains combines history and modernity, tradition and zeitgeist. While the medieval half-timbered streets of Stolberg nestle along the bed of the Thyra and the narrow Lude rivers in the valley below, the FreiWerk is enthroned high up on the Thyrahöhe. Guests' favourite spots include the lounge and the terrace, from where you can listen to the whispering of the trees.

With the new ‘for me & you’ private spa suites, you can enjoy top-class wellness experiences and exclusive moments of tranquillity - all to yourself. The two-storey private spa suites are made entirely of wood, have a living space of around 100 m², their own Finnish and steam sauna, a private whirlpool on the balcony (can be used all year round) and a spacious bathroom area with designer bathtub as well as selected art from the MEISSEN porcelain manufactory.
