The apartment is accessed via the house entrance and a small hallway with a checkroom. From here you enter the first floor with WC/shower, kitchenette, dining area and a sofa that can also be used as a guest bed. From the first floor, a staircase leads up to the spacious, bright living/sleeping area with a high-quality sofa bed, a sitting area where you can sit together comfortably and watch TV. In front of the kitchenette on the first floor is the terrace with seating and dining area and a view of the large garden. The maisonette is finished with natural building materials and is centrally heated.

In just a few minutes you can reach the forest as a starting point for hikes, cycle tours in the immediate and wider surroundings of the village and the Upper Harz. The Innerstetalsperre dam offers water sports facilities and there is a beautifully situated swimming pool in the village. The World Heritage Sites of Goslar and the Oberharzer Wasserregal can be easily reached from here. There are many sights and historical evidence of the former mining industry to discover. Cultural events in churches and monasteries round off your stay.
