The scenic surroundings of the northern Harz are pure nature, combined with many tourist highlights, after all, we are surrounded by 3 world heritage sites within a 20-minute drive, which are waiting to be discovered. Hiking and cycling trails, in winter the cross-country ski trails start directly at the house. Enough possibilities for a relaxing and active vacation.

Here in Mandelholz you can expect the cultivated hospitality in the traditional "Grüne Tanne", which has been welcoming its guests as a family business since 1896.

After a varied day you can relax and put your feet up, enjoy the evening sun on a deck chair in the garden, regenerate in the wellness house with sauna, solarium, steam bath and whirlpool and enjoy the temptations of our gastronomy.

After a relaxing night in our cozy rooms, the new day begins with a pampering breakfast from our rich buffet.

Of course, we will put together a packed lunch for your hiking day or bike tour in our Mandelhölzer hiking backpack on request. Maps and recommendations for interesting destinations are also available.

All 23 hotel rooms are spacious, cozy and individually furnished. They have free Internet access via WLAN and sanitary facilities with shower and WC. There is an elevator in the main building and plenty of free parking spaces are available directly opposite the hotel.
