Since 2010, the Degenershausen Landscape Park has been part of the historic gardens and park facilities „Gartenträume“ in Saxony-Anhalt.
The 12-hectare park is home to 175 genera and species of native and exotic shrubs. The facility is crossed by paths with a total length of about 2.8 km and, due to the path conditions, also offers the possibility to visit this place by wheelchair.
This route is part of the accompanying booklet "My First Stamp Booklet" of the Harzer Wandernadel, which includes stroller-friendly routes.
If you have hiked all 16 routes and filled the booklet with stamps, you can reward yourself with the special hiking badge.

Directions
A parking lot as a starting point is located directly next to the landscape park. It is accessible free of charge every day. You can enter the park through a large gate. The path leads left alongside with the unmistakable obelisk on the right. Every 100 meters there is a bench on which you can especially enjoy the sun. Following the path you reach the Degenershausen Pond, where the stamp box is also presented. Back on the main path, it goes to the right and continues through the park. On the way back, there is the option to visit the perennial garden or to go back to the starting point through the gate.
Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
At the entrance gate, there is the opportunity to leave a donation for the association „Support Association for the Preservation of the Degenershausen Landscape Park e.V.“.
