DETOUR SIGNPOSTED!

This interesting section leads you from the Schalke to the traces of the Upper Harz Water Management and ends on the ridge "Auf dem Acker."

You ride on easily passable trails and gravel. The Huttaler Grabenweg is quite narrow and often frequented by hikers – please be especially careful here! The ascent to Hanskühnenburg (over 6 km long) is partly quite steep. But at the top, you are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Harz and the Harz foothills.
