The nature experience centre "HohneHof" is located about 1 km from the Drei Annen Hohne train station, above the large forest meadows at the edge of the national park. As early as the 17th century, the numerous clearings and forest meadows in the Hohne area were used as pasture; in 1668, Count Heinrich Ernst zu Stolberg had a simple shelter built here for his shepherds.

Directions

The hike starts at the Drei-Annen-Hohne car park. From there, you follow the wide path for about 470 metres past the Hohnewiese and turn right onto the continuing wide forest path until you reach the Hohnehof and the stamp box 174 located there. A large adventure playground invites you to explore. The hike then continues along the road straight ahead to the Kirchstieg to the left. Follow this path, keeping to the left, for about 900 metres until you turn left onto the wide forest path, which leads straight back to the car.
