The 128 km long Oker, which springs from the Bruchberg at an altitude of 910 meters, fills the Dammgraben, the Okertalsperre, and the Wallanlagen Braunschweig with its water.

The short circular route has a total elevation gain of 80 meters with flat and moderately ascending sections.

Initially, under the protection of trees, you will mainly experience subdued climatic stimuli, before it becomes more intense on the rather sunny path through the town. Heat stress is rare and climatic stimuli are increased in winter.
