The Morgenbrodtsthaler Graben is somewhat off the beaten path and is the insider tip in the World Heritage Site. It captures the water of the Söse and leads it to the dam house.

Directions

With a total of about 500 meters of elevation, the long circular route features gentle, moderate, and steep ascents.

This route is very invigorating due to the clearly noticeable difference in perceived temperature between the lower and upper sections of the path. In the shelter of the forest, there are mostly subdued climatic stimuli. On the wide, sunlit paths, the stimuli become somewhat more intense. There is very rare heat stress and very frequent cold stimuli in winter.

The demands due to the path are high, the demands due to the climate are moderate. The average energy expenditure for a body weight of 75 kg is about 870 kcal.
