The Sperberhaier Dam is the largest aqueduct of the Upper Harz water management system. With over 1,000 liters of water per second, it kept the mines in Clausthal running continuously.

Over a total of about 180 meters in altitude, you will encounter mostly slight and moderate climbs on the long circular route.

The sunny sections on the outskirts and in the area of the dam house have a stimulating effect. The round through the forest is predominantly gentle. On the route, you will very rarely experience heat stress, but frequently cold stimuli in winter.

The demands due to the path are moderate, the demands due to the climate are low. For a body weight of 75kg, the average energy consumption is approximately 490 kcal.
