Over stock and stone, but also to the castle and thoroughbred stud farm, this route leads us.

We start our route at the "HarzWaldHaus am Kurpark." We follow the ring trail over stock and stone in an easterly direction and hike—making a short detour—past the entrances to Krodotal and Stübchental. Over Butterberg and ridge path, we reach the Sonnenhof viewpoint. Then, passing under the B4, we arrive at Zaubergberg. Turning into Breite Straße, we walk towards the castle park and thoroughbred stud farm. From there, the path leads us to the Bad Harzburg wildlife enclosure and the golf course opposite. Via Amsbergstraße, we return quickly back to the Kurpark.
