BaudenSteig circular route No. 3: Riefensbeek - Hanskühnenburg

From Kohlungsplatz (S) on forest roads past the forest swimming pool uphill with views over Riefensbeek. Over the Knochenplatz to the Bösenberg (1). Further uphill through the Harz National Park to the mountain massif "Auf dem Acker" and past the imposing Hanskühnenburg cliff. At the Hanskühnenburg cabin (2) at 811 m, a cozy rest and refreshment are offered. Beautiful view from the tower. The way back, downhill into the Sösetal, leads past the Sergeantenklippe to the large Schacht and to the forebay of the Sösetalsperre (3). Cross the forebay dam, then right along the forebay. In the pristine Sösetal on the forest nature trail, accompanied by the mountain stream of the Söse, into the small mountain village of Riefensbeek-Kamschlacken. Various refreshment options await here. It is not far to the parking lot.
