Climate hiking is not only an opportunity to experience the special nature in the Harz, but also an effective method to promote physical and mental health. It combines the therapeutic effects of exercise, fresh air, and nature experience, making Braunlage an ideal place for everyone who wants to strengthen their health naturally.

The short route initially circles the spa park pond. Passing the outdoor fitness equipment, the path leads along the rhododendrons and the squirrel corner into the upper spa garden with its diverse trees and shrubs. It continues comfortably to the Köte, a replica of a former charcoal burner’s hut. Behind the alpaca enclosure, the route goes to the viewpoint of the "Steinsklippe". The path passes a place of meditation, then descends back to the starting point, where the outdoor fitness equipment and the Kneipp basin provide a fitting conclusion to the route.
