You can follow animal tracks, listen to the faintest sounds with the ears of the hearing owl, or explore the ground barefoot on the barefoot path. A 400-year-old oak invites you to relax with its dreamer’s bench. At the rotating puzzle, you learn which animals need dead or dying wood to live. The forest memory game waits with picture pairs to be found. Those who want to really let off steam can race by jumping with the forest animals. There is also much to discover at the new deadwood station. Depending on how long you spend at the various stations, around 1 to 2 hours should be planned.
After trying out the Archimedean screw and learning a lot about the water cycle, the trail ends at the HohneHof Nature Adventure Center. Here you can recharge with a snack, explore the research corner, and race on the adventure playground.
The Explorer Trail is open almost all year round. Please note that the activity stations are dismantled during the winter months.

- The Dandelion Explorer Trail starts about 150 m from the parking lot and station in Drei Annen Hohne. The entry path leads after a short flat stretch onto an ascending root path, which is not accessible by stroller or wheelchair. The mostly flat meadow section is partially suitable for wheelchair and stroller. As an access route, a meadow path is suitable, which leads from the wide forest road to the HohneHof, turning left onto the meadow.
