Easy, approximately 29-kilometer-long gravel bike route in the Upper Harz with 490 m of elevation gain

The route starts at OutdoorCenter Harz and leads on easy forest paths to the Kiefhölzer Pond near Festenburg. From there, it goes moderately uphill towards Schalke. Upon reaching the asphalted path, you are halfway up between Auerhahn and the summit of Schalke. From here, a small detour to the summit can be made. The route continues via Auerhahn to Bocksberg (with refreshment options). The Bocksberg is also left via the Liebesbankweg halfway up and goes downhill to Hahnenklee. Via the Hahnenklee district Bockswiese, the route passes numerous ponds along forest and hiking trails towards Spiegelthal. Along the Spiegelthal ponds, it goes back to Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
