- via the B27 from the direction of Braunlage and Blankenburg
- as well as via the B244 from the direction of Wernigerode via Elbingerode
- or via the L100 and L99 from the direction of Wernigerode via Drei-Annen-Hohne.
You can reach the Harz village Elend by bus from the Harzer Verkehrsbetriebe:
from the direction of Wernigerode and Braunlage
or
by the Harzer Schmalspurbahn from the direction of Wernigerode or Nordhausen.
