Start: Tourist Information Halberstadt (Town Hall)
In Halberstadt leave via Heinrich-Julius-Str., Schmiedestr., Westendorf, Am Berge, Sternstr., Mahndorfer Str. towards Mahndorf
Continue through Veltensmühle towards Mahndorf
In Mahndorf keep going straight on the village street over cobblestone to reach the Holtemme bike path
Detour Gut Mahndorf: turn left on the village street
Stay on the natural gravel path, cross a small footbridge and follow the Holtemme upstream
After several kilometers, turn right onto a slab path to reach Derenburg
In Derenburg take Im Freien Felde, Schlossstr., Kanalstr., Kornstr., Halberstädter Str., Minslebener Str., Utzlebener Str., Rothestr.
Follow the natural path to the Harzkristall glass manufactory

Continue on the natural path towards Silstedt
In Silstedt cross the Holtemme twice and follow the signage of the Holtemme bike path
In Minsleben take Hauptstr., Dorfstr. and stay on the Holtemme bike path
Detour to the beer and coffee garden ‘Rothe Mühle’
In Wernigerode turn right into Dornbergsweg and follow the signs towards the old town
