Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

The Vital Park, redesigned and generously laid out in 2013 (formerly Kurpark), invites you to relax and dream with its paths, water-treading facility, barefoot path, multi-generation playground, beautiful flower arrangements, and plant diversity. On the edge of the Vital Park lies the Schmelzteich, which was created around the 16th century as flood protection. From the 130 m long and 5 m high dam of the Schmelzteich, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the entire Vital Park and Schmelzteich. In summer, you can pedal boat on the Schmelzteich, which can be rented there.
