Directions
- The starting point of the circular hiking trail is the Hindenburgplatz (near the tourist information). From there, follow Parkstraße uphill. Passing Hedwigstraße and Höhenweg (on the left), turn left. Now keep right towards the holiday park, turn left onto Hahnenkleerbergstraße and shortly after turn right again towards Peiffer Brunnen. You will reach Peiffer Brunnen after a total of 1.4 km. From there, continue right and you will come to Tetschwasserstraße, which will lead you after 1.9 km to the Oberförster – H. Müller monument. Now follow Hexenbankweg until you reach Pochwerkplatz after 2.6 km. From Pochwerkplatz, please follow the Harzklub trail mark (yellow triangle with circle) which leads you to Emmas-Ruh-Weg. After crossing the street, you will be in the pedestrian zone (Rathausstraße). If you turn right here, you reach the end of the pedestrian zone and can see the Sparkasse from a distance. Walk towards the Sparkasse and turn left into Hindenburgstraße there. Hindenburgstraße will take you back to your starting point, Hindenburgplatz.
