Initially from Sanickel upwards to the Willy-Müller-Weg. To the left along the western Adlersberg to the former quarry, from there straight ahead to Lautenthal or turning sharply uphill the Sawmill Trail to Hahnenklee.
From Försterplatz about 6 km on the Red Cross Trail over the Maaßener Gaipel (forest inn) to Lautenthal.
