Kuckuck - Trail - Wieda

Depending on the snow conditions, you can start directly from the parking lot onto the trail or follow the Silberbachstraße for about 150 meters and begin your cross-country skiing tour there. At the right curve or the trail, keep far to the left. From here, the trail extends at the foot of the Kuckuck over meadows for about 700 meters on an almost level path. After a small descent, a sharp turn takes place at the so-called Schlangenborn. With a view into the Wieda valley and the opposite Käseberg, the tour goes back about 800 meters to the starting point at Käseberg.

DSV Premium Trail 

This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail. 
Together with municipalities in the western Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Stiftung Sicherheit im Skisport (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have committed in recent years to the qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria, marked with a uniform system and equipped with information boards.
