R1 (FRISP at Schadeleben) - Frose - Wilslebener Lake - Aschersleben Zoo - ALS Center - Hecklingen - R1 (Gänsefurth)

You will pass the R1 information point at Schadeleben on the R1. Nearby is the largest outdoor playground in Saxony-Anhalt.

Along a nature reserve, it goes towards Frose, with the Collegiate Church of St. Cyriacus - which belongs to the Romanesque Road.

It continues to Aschersleben, past Wilslebener Lake, to the park "Auf der Alten Burg" from where you have a wonderful view of the Brocken. Nearby is the Aschersleben Zoo, where as a special highlight you can see a white lion.

Through the promenade, with its historic town fortifications, it goes into the center of Aschersleben and past Herrenbreite again towards the town exit. Over field paths, you travel to Hecklingen, with its town castle and return to the R1.
