Awards Ceremony for the SchokoKunst Student Contest
A heartfelt encounter with the cacao plant. Lovingly guided by Maria Werner, we’ll drink ceremonial cacao together and create a space for silence and connection. Cacao has a heart-opening effect and can deepen our perception. In this way, it invites us to experience the moving songs of musician Jan Koppelin with particular intensity. Sung in German and Spanish, they speak of a connection to nature as well as the search for depth and meaning in life.
The unprocessed cacao for this evening comes from the “Heart of the World” (Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta) in Colombia and is cultivated and harvested in the traditional manner by the indigenous Kogi people.
