Guided tour of the Knesebeck mine
In this guided tour through the exhibition, former industrial plant and mining tunnels, you will learn everything there is to know about modern mining in the Upper Harz region.
During the excursion through the underground and above-ground mining facilities, expert museum guides will vividly explain the hard working conditions of the miners and the history of mining in and around Bad Grund.
Note:
Visitors can expect temperatures of around 8°C in the tunnel system. Sturdy shoes and warm clothing are recommended. Safety helmets are provided.
