White Castle Christmas 2026

From 18 to 29 December 2026, the historic castle grounds will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the whole family. Against a unique backdrop, lovingly designed stalls invite visitors to stroll, enjoy themselves and linger. Handcrafted gift ideas, culinary specialities and regional produce ensure a diverse range of offerings.

A varied programme of stage performances and events, featuring music, shows, activities for children and guided tours of the castle museum, makes the Castle Christmas a special experience for young and old alike. The programme is complemented by further attractions such as the ice rink and atmospheric photo opportunities.

The White Castle Christmas stands for cosiness, socialising and a genuine Christmas atmosphere in the heart of Sondershausen. Whether with family, friends or colleagues – here you can enjoy peaceful and cheerful winter days in a special atmosphere.
