Since spring 2024, the Harz Monastery Trail covers a total of 116 kilometres. The route can be divided into seven stages, each between 10 and 22 kilometres long.
With no major altitude differences, the trail takes you through fragrant monastery gardens, Gothic cloisters and churches with centuries of history. You’ll encounter monasteries as venues, museums, distilleries and as places of spirituality and hospitality.
