The Harz monasteries and their partners, organised under the Harz Tourism Association, are hosting a series of small but exquisite events from 15 October to 31 October 2027, designed to allow visitors to experience the power and atmosphere of a monastery or church as a place of tranquillity and spirituality.
‘Spiritual Autumn’ offers special moments to pause and reflect – whether to the gentle strains of an instrument, in the interplay of light and darkness, through guided tours, open-air singing, readings in monastery rooms, candlelit tours and events for children.

From summer 2027, you’ll find the new events for our Spiritual Autumn 2027 here – come and join us!
