Experience Mining at Rabenstein Cleats

After the exciting ride on the "Rabenstein Express", you will be shown how coal was mined in earlier times. You will see original working places, carved out seam areas and mining galleries, which are often only 60 cm high. When the air-driven machines are in use, it is possible to imagine the inhospitable working conditions underground. If you want to, you can also take a ride in the mine on a bicycle trolley. There are also interesting fossil finds to marvel at. You might even find one or two fossils on the spoil heap itself. A small bistro with a cosy coffee garden and a museum shop round off the visit.
