There’s now even more thrills at the Harzturm: The new “High Swing” takes you over the treetops at a height of about 60 meters! Securely strapped into a special swing, you’ll soar through the air with a breathtaking view of the Brocken. The wind, the vast expanse, and plenty of adrenaline make this moment an experience you won’t soon forget.
The High Swing is available through the end of October and requires a separate reservation (subject to change due to weather conditions). The attraction was developed in collaboration with Vertical Sports Events GmbH.
And there’s even more to experience:
Take the stairs or the elevator up to a height of 65 meters to the two 360° panoramic observation decks. Once at the top, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking view of the Brocken, the national park, and far across the Harz Mountains. The Harzturm is accessible to people with disabilities all the way to the first observation deck.
Those seeking a special thrill can venture onto the glass Skywalk at a height of 45 meters. And even the way back can be an adventure: Instead of the stairs or elevator, the “Rasantia”—Germany’s highest adventure slide—awaits. Stretching 110 meters in length, the stainless-steel slide winds its way around the exterior of the Harzturm’s wooden structure. Rapid curves, along with special sound and light effects, make the ride an experience in itself. In the entrance building, the Harzturm Shop also invites you to browse. Here you’ll find souvenirs and mementos of your Harzturm adventure to take home.
