NaturErlebnisPark Lerbach
A great children's playground with magical play equipment, a waterfall, a barbecue area, a boules court, two witches' huts and an original Harz quilt offer families and small groups the opportunity to spend their leisure time close to nature. Kindergartens and school classes can carry out nature education activities there; contact can be made with a certified forest educator. The water depth of the pond is approx. 1.20 m, in the middle of the pond a little deeper. However, there is no bathing supervision here.
The two witches' huts on the site can be rented by hikers and mountain bikers as rustic sleeping facilities, but can also be used as adventure overnight accommodation in connection with children's birthday parties. Sturdy loungers are available for adults to sleep on, while children need to bring their own air mattress and sleeping bag etc.
The Original Harzer Köte can also be used by groups for campfires, barbecues or other events.
The maintenance of this area has been taken over by the Förderverein NaturErlebnisPark Lerbach e.V.. The actual use of the site is free of charge. The quay and witches' hut can be hired for a small fee. An appointment must be made by email. However, donations for the care and maintenance of the NatureExperiencePark are also gladly accepted. A donation box is located at the entrance to the park.
