Directions

The hike starts at the parking lot Buntenbock at Mittelweg. From there, follow Mittelweg until it leads to the left into the street “Am Brink”. After about 100 meters, turn right along a path, then after about 200 meters, turn right onto a street. This leads to the street “An der Trift”, which you follow about 100 meters on the left and then turn left onto the forest path “Am Ziegenberg”. This takes you about 1.4 km directly to the shelter at Bärenbrucher Pond, where the stamp box 137 is located. From there, continue about 200 meters along Bärenbruchweg and then turn right onto the Harzer Hexenstieg, which you follow for about 300 meters until you turn right again onto a forest path. After about 600 meters, take the right-hand hiking trail 10P. After about 700 meters, you reach the outward path again, which is also the return path.
