BaudenSteig circular route No. 2: Lerbach

From the parking lot (S) briefly towards the village entrance, then follow the Bodestieg uphill to the right. Along the forest road on the left, past the upper water reservoir. In the beech forest, the path narrows and meets the Baudensteig. Detour to the Kuckholzklippe observation tower (1). Follow the Baudensteig downhill to the Sommerbergweg. Past information boards about mining history down into the lower village (2). Briefly left, then right uphill into the Mühlental. Past the open-air museum to the sheep barn on Hoppenberg (3). Here left to the Rote Sohl. The circular route now runs on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg with views towards Lerbach. At a shelter, Holzhexe and Hexenstieg book. View of the observation tower and Mühlenteich. Here we leave the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg and hike down a forest road to the parking lot at Mühlenteich.
