Directions
- From the Heimatmuseum Lutter, this time you head initially northwards to Neuwallmoden. You pass through the village on the main street and continue following it until you can turn right towards Alt Wallmoden. Via Dorfstraße and Teichstraße, you travel through Alt Wallmoden. Shortly after leaving the village, turn right towards Upen and Hohenrode. At the next intersection, keep right again and thus reach Upen. Following the street layout, you pass through the village. Then you approach the Innerste River, initially still on the street. It now accompanies you southward. You cross several streets, reach Palandsmühle, and then continue to Bredelem. Once there, you have probably the most beautiful part of this tour ahead of you. The remaining kilometers take you through the Appelhorn nature reserve, a former Bundeswehr military training area, and between fields back towards Lutter am Barenberge. You reach state road 500, which leads you back into the town center and to the starting point of this route.
