  • Start: Valley station of the Burgberg cable car, Nordhäuser Straße 2 A, 38667 Bad Harzburg

The route leads from the northern edge of the Harz up to the surrounding mountains, where there are great viewpoints.

The half-day tour runs mostly on gravel roads, but also on some single-trail sections. In the Tiefenbach valley, there is a short slippery push section. Before the last third of the route, a break is worthwhile at the lynx enclosure at Rabenklippe, where you - as well as at other viewpoints - have a beautiful view over the mountains. At the end of the tour, there is a constant alternation between short trails and forest roads.
