- The detour is not marked with the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg symbol. In the town center of Treseburg, follow the Harzklub trail 32C (red dot) via the "Weißen Hirsch" and the so-called "Pfeildenkmal" to the Hexentanzplatz. Here, you can enjoy the impressive view of the Bodetal Gorge and the opposite Rosstrappe. From the Hexentanzplatz, follow the blue dot down to Thale via switchbacks.
