From the starting point at the church, cross the Bode bridge and keep right at the bus stop - easy climb to the cemetery. Further uphill you reach a crossroads; there turn left to the bungalow settlement "Spohnbleek". On the right follows the ascent to Albert-Schomburg-Platz with a beautiful view of the meandering Bode. Through oak forest, it goes to the Wilhelmsblick viewpoint with a view of the meander loop. Via a steeper stair descent, you go through the Wilhelmsblick tunnel (created in 1861), cross the street and walk gently downhill on the Roßtrappenweg towards Treseburg up to the country road. Follow it for about 200m and return via the cemetery and the Bode bridge back to the starting point.
