Just before the start of November, when autumn storms rage around the old monastery walls and darkness descends with a vengeance, there are all sorts of spooky and wonderful things to experience here:

The Hogwarts event hosted by the Michaelstein Monks continues this year. So break out your wands, magical cloaks, witch’s brooms, and pointy hats! In addition, visitors of all ages can look forward to exciting discovery tours through the museum at night, a monastery ghost story with spooky sounds to join in on, and much more. Food and drinks will also be provided.

This event is part of the “Spiritual Autumn” series at the Harz monasteries.
