Hogwarts Visits the Monks | Family Tour: A Child-Friendly Discovery Tour at Michaelstein Abbey

Although the monks themselves weren’t particularly interested in magic and magical rituals, there are still many parallels to Professor Snape’s potion ingredients and Professor Sprout’s greenhouse. Mythical creatures, witches, monsters, and demons were also not unknown to the monks. During the tour, you’ll learn how they protected themselves and what tools Muggles used in the Middle Ages to defend against the dark creatures of the night.
