Sunday Matinee
Historical sources or mine plans from the Harz mining industry—such as the well-known 4.40 m-long plan by Adam Illing from 1661—still illustrate the scale of mining in the Harz Mountains today. In his work, Hermann Kißling examined these mine plans in depth, used them as a guide, and interpreted them in his own way.
