Grafikstiftung Neo Rauch
The reason for establishing the foundation in 2012 was a donation from Neo Rauch to his hometown of Aschersleben: he gave the town a copy of each of the graphic works he has created since 1993.
Neo Rauch was born in Leipzig in April 1960 and grew up in Aschersleben. From 1981, he studied painting at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig under Professor Arno Rink. He completed his master class under Bernhard Heisig in 1990. His work has received numerous national and international awards. Today he lives and works in Leipzig.
