Huldigungssaal im Rathaus

Historical building
The Hall of Homage in Goslar is a historical highlight and is located in the town hall.

The hall impresses with its ornate wall paintings and magnificent interior, which reflect the history and importance of Goslar as an imperial city.

The Huldigungssaal is a unique gem of late Gothic interior design in its entirety. The walls, ceilings and window niches of the hall, which was furnished between 1505 and 1520, are completely lined with panel paintings and vine carvings. After years of restoration work, the Hall of Homage is now protected from decay by sophisticated security, climate control and lighting technology.

The multimedia presentation, which uses audiovisual effects to bring visitors closer to the history of the hall and the city, offers a special experience. This presentation enables an impressive journey through time and a deeper connection to the historical significance of the site. To protect and preserve the Hall of Homage, the original can be viewed through a glass window.
