Museum im Ritterhaus (knight house)
After the successful cinema debut of the children's film "Die Kleine Hexe", one of the main props from the film - the throne of the head witch - has now found a home in the Harz Mountains. The film was shot in autumn 2016 at various locations in Switzerland, Bavaria, but also in the Harz Mountains.
The throne now serves as a new attraction in the museum, as a photo opportunity and as a special prelude to the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg (Harz Witch Climb), which begins in Osterode. The Harz Wandernadel has issued a special stamp to support the project; this stamp is available in the museum.
