The centre of Altenau is easy to reach. On foot, past the kindergarten, bell tower and the wooden church 'St. Nikolai', you can reach the town centre in about 10 minutes. Here you will find restaurants, cafes, a food market, a chemist with post office, doctors and pharmacy and much more.
The Glockenberg is definitely a good choice for a holiday home.
