The circular route leads from the western edge of the Harz into the adjacent mountains.

Short mountain route through deciduous forest with short, steep climbs and some nice single-trail sections. The route mostly runs through deciduous forest and offers beautiful viewpoints. It leads into the Schildau valley, around the Sautalsköpfe, and from there west towards Münchehof. The way back to Seesen is more leisurely - along the edge of the Harz.

About 3 km east from the train station towards the town exit lies the spa park (Granestraße), where the five MTB routes S1 to S5 lead from the valley into the mountains.
