Moderate road cycling route through the West Harz along the Söse and Oker reservoirs

The Two Reservoirs route is a moderate round trip. The start and finish is the mining town of Bad Grund, initially the route gently leads to the former district town Osterode. From here it climbs slightly along the Söse reservoir until it gradually becomes steeper and we reach the Upper Harz. Via Altenau the path passes by the Oker reservoir. A change of direction takes us to Clausthal and Bockswiese. A fast descent leads to Lauthental. From here the Innerste River accompanies us via Wildemann back to the start/finish location Bad Grund.
